By creating an account or using iSummarize, you agree to these terms of service. These rules protect both you and us as you use the application. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not upload files or use the platform.
iSummarize is a document, video, and audio AI assistant. It allows you to upload files (including PDF, DOCX, TXT, MP4, MKV, MP3, and WAV formats) to get summaries and chat with your files under strict context grounding.
All analysis and summaries are generated automatically by our AI document engine. We enforce strict contextual grounding, meaning the assistant is instructed to answer only using information from your uploaded files.
Important: The summaries and analyses generated by iSummarize are automated tools designed for reference and study purposes. Users are expected to verify all outputs against the original documents or source material before making decisions based on the analysis.
When you upload files, they are securely transmitted to our servers to generate temporary embeddings for your active session. This enables features like cross-document comparison.
To maintain strict data privacy, all uploaded files and session embeddings are automatically erased from our systems as soon as the active chat session is terminated.
We offer two primary tiers of service:
Our Free Registered Plan is ad-supported and allows up to 5 file uploads and 20 chat queries per day. File sizes are capped at 5MB per upload.
Our Pro Plan costs $3.99 per month. Subscribers receive a 100% ad-free workspace, maximum/unlimited chat queries, support for concurrent file uploads and cross-document comparison, and file size limits up to 25MB.
Billing occurs automatically every month. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard settings. Benefits continue until the end of the current billing cycle, and we do not issue partial refunds for canceled months.
When using iSummarize, you agree to engage in fair use behavior. You are strictly prohibited from:
Violation of these terms will result in the immediate termination of your account, blocking of your IP address, and forfeiture of any remaining subscription periods without refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall iSummarize, its affiliates, directors, or suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages.
iSummarize operates as an AI utility tool with strict grounding controls (configured at a processing temperature of 0.0 to enforce compliance with the upload source). Because automated systems rely on language models that can process text inaccurately, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability or precision of outputs.
Under no circumstances shall iSummarize be liable for any professional, legal, academic, or commercial damages resulting from document/video processing inaccuracies, omissions, errors, or service downtime. You use the outputs of our AI engine entirely at your own risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or close your account if you violate these terms, attempt to disrupt our servers, or exploit platform quotas.
