What is iSummarize?

iSummarize is a next-generation Multimodal Document, Media, and Audio AI Assistant. We built it from the ground up to read, analyze, and chat with your files, including PDFs, DOCX, TXT, MP4, MKV, MP3, and WAV formats.

Unlike general purpose bots, our tool is built around strict contextual grounding. When you chat with your documents, the system isolates its answers entirely to the files you upload. If the answer is not in the file, it will tell you. This approach removes guesses and hallucinations, providing only facts from your sources.

The Challenge of Modern Information

Every day, students, professionals, and researchers have to parse huge amounts of data. Long lecture recordings, detailed meeting minutes, massive reports, and complex audio files require hours of passive reading or listening just to find small, key details.

We wanted a way to skip the filler and get straight to the facts. We realized that by combining text extraction and media processing with strict grounded discussions, we could create an assistant that does the heavy lifting for you while maintaining absolute accuracy.

Our Technology

Our assistant is powered by iSummarize AI, running alongside our proprietary high-precision document AI engine. The engine parses document text locally and manages temporary sessions for media files to analyze content directly.

On the backend, our FastAPI services handle file processing and session storage. On the frontend, a responsive Next.js web application provides a clean, fast interface that works across both desktop and mobile viewports.

Data Privacy First

We do not train models on your uploaded files. All files are securely transmitted to generate temporary embeddings for active sessions (enabling cross-document comparison) and are automatically erased upon session termination to maintain strict data privacy.

Who We Are

We are a small, focused team of developers and designers working to build useful software. We believe in building one high-quality tool that solves a real problem instead of creating multiple features that perform poorly. We do not have outside investors pushing for rapid growth at the expense of user experience, allowing us to keep our focus entirely on utility and privacy.
